±45° Biaxial Carbon Fibre Fabric, 50K, 400 g/m², engineered for high-performance composite structures requiring an excellent balance of high mechanical strength and low weight. Manufactured from two layers of 200 g/m² unidirectional carbon fibre, oriented at +45° and -45°, and stitched together with a lightweight polyester yarn.
The biaxial construction delivers outstanding shear strength, impact resistance, and torsional stiffness, making it particularly suitable for structural applications subjected to multi-directional loads.
Ideal for use with epoxy resin systems and compatible with a range of composite manufacturing processes, including hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, and RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding).
