Compoflex® SB 250 is a combined peel ply, perforated release film, and breather/bleeder fabric designed to control resin flow and facilitate the release of consumables from composite laminates during processing.
The material produces a highly textured, rough surface finish that is ideal for secondary bonding operations or painting composite laminates without extensive surface preparation.
Compoflex® SB 250 can significantly reduce or eliminate the need for sanding or abrasion prior to bonding or coating. While optimum results are typically achieved with epoxy resin systems, testing is recommended before use in production applications.
The integrated release film features a perforation pattern designed to provide low to medium bleed characteristics, helping to control resin flow during cure.
