Freeman 266 Thermostable Wax Sheet is a medium-brown wax sheet featuring a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing. It was primarily developed for use with tooling plastics to prevent wax distortion under exothermic curing conditions.
Additional applications include simulating metal or part thickness during the construction of metal forming dies, as well as creating two-piece moulds that require a uniform gap thickness, such as resin transfer moulding (RTM) tools.
Thermostable wax sheets are compatible with casting and laminating resin systems that generate or require heat during curing. They can also be used as an encapsulation compound.
Features & Benefits
