800 g/m² biaxial glass fiber fabric manufactured from two layers of unidirectional reinforcement oriented at +45° and -45°, respectively.
Widely used in hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, resin injection, and RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) processes.
Compatible with all major thermosetting resin systems, including:
- Polyester resins
- Urethane-acrylic resins
- Vinyl ester resins
- Epoxy resins
This fabric is particularly suitable for applications requiring high mechanical performance combined with excellent surface finish quality.
The biaxial construction helps minimize fiber print-through on gelcoat surfaces, resulting in smoother, more aesthetically pleasing composite parts with reduced surface distortion.
Key Benefits
- Excellent mechanical strength
- Optimized ±45° fiber orientation for shear and torsional loads
- Suitable for a wide range of composite manufacturing processes
- Compatible with all common thermoset resin systems
- Reduced print-through effect on gelcoat surfaces
- High-quality cosmetic finish
