X600 is a 600 g/m² spread tow biaxial carbon fiber fabric with a 0°/90° fiber orientation, consisting of two 300 g/m² layers. It is manufactured using high-tenacity 50K carbon fiber, providing excellent mechanical performance while maintaining low weight.
This fabric is ideal for the manufacture of composite parts and moulds using a wide range of thermosetting resin systems, particularly epoxy, vinyl ester, and urethane-acrylic resins such as Crestapol® 1250LV.
Recommended processing methods:
- Hand lay-up
- Wet lamination
Not recommended for vacuum infusion processes.
Key Features
- Gap-free spread tow technology, eliminating resin-rich areas
- No fiber crimp, resulting in improved mechanical properties
- Optimized laminate construction, reducing material usage and manufacturing costs
- High stiffness-to-weight ratio
- Excellent surface finish and laminate quality
Suitable for high-performance composite applications in motorsport, marine, industrial, tooling, and advanced engineering sectors.
